Case Studies
“When I started training with Tom, I had injuries to a shoulder and knee. Tom was meticulous in preparing a program for me that addressed both injuries, alongside my desire to get fitter and stronger.
His attention to detail is second to none and I very quickly made progress with all my goals. I am now injury free, which I attribute to Tom’s care, attention and knowledge.
Tom is ever watchful in his support and guidance and makes a huge effort to create variety and interest in his programs. I look forward to his gym sessions and can’t recommend him highly enough.”
FAQs: The Basics
-
The most common question I receive is what is Sports Therapy and how is it different from physiotherapy. The answer is that it's not too dissimilar when treating the musculoskeletal system (sporting injuries) however physios also deal with respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
Being a Sports Therapist means my focus is on working with an active population who are looking to return to any level of physical exercise stronger than they were previous to the injury.
